Ximen Airline Hotel - Taipei

I had such a wonderful romantic getaway! The location couldn't be better-right in the heart of the shopping district near the metro station and Ah Zong Mian Xian. The room was spacious and super comfy, making our stay cozy. The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us, which made our experience even better!

The bathroom design could use some work as the sink splashed everywhere—definitely not the best for couples looking for a tidy vibe. some areas felt a bit worn down, but it didn't ruin our fun. Just a little cleanup would go a long way!

Convenient location, comfortable beds, clean n friendly staff.

Although the building doesn't look good but once you are up at 8 floor, is a whole new world! The hotel is so clean, new, bright and the staff are so friendly! Me and my hubby are so happy when we see our room! It is so clean and very well equip with necessities! The location is excellent too! Very near the MRT station and the famous Ah Zhong Mee Sua is juz below the hotel!

Two things we don't like was the noise from the upper floor which is a disco place but luckily the place closed at 10pm! Another thing was the pillow, it is too soft.

I really enjoyed my stay; the room was cozy, and the value for money was great. The location is perfect, just a minute from the MRT, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

Menu for breakfast could use more variety on the options.

Climate control, a personal safe and a flat-screen TV in the room and the comfortable bed. Early check-in, late check-out...

My favorite property in Taipei. A wide array of goodies for breakfast. Had good and absolutely perfect location right across from a subway stop, near Ximending Shopping Area. Also - short walk to Ximending, MRT and Ah Zhong Mian Xian, Ximending shopping district, and the center of ximen.

I had a fantastic stay with great value for my money! The location was superb, just a short walk from the metro, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Morning meal could use more variety in options.

The location and proximity to Ximen MRT and the surrounding area was good. I like the rain shower head in the toilet and the general decor of the place.

As the rooms on the seventh floor were only accessibly via a staircase down, it was troublesome handling big luggage up and down the stairs. We had to take the lift to the 8th floor then take the stairs to the 7th floor. The rooms in the pictures advertised in Booked.net were different from the rooms we got. The rooms we got were much smaller. I booked a twin room and saw that the layout was pretty nice in the pictures, which had the beds along a single line and a seperate walkway along the beds. This will give each traveler a private space but the twin room I had was that of a usual budget hotel, which had the twin beds side by side and a narrow walkway in front of them. The pillows were extremely soft and we had to stack two pillows and fold them into half. There was a constant cigarette smell in the room. Although the proximity to the nearby shopping district was good, the lobby of the hotel was a dark area with filthy shops and cockroaches in the morning. At night, it is quite scary for lone female guests to take the single lift up. For the price I paid, I do not think that it is worth it. There was also no free breakfast, which most hotels at this price will include. I would have given a better rating if I received the rooms similar to the ones in the pictures.

Good for value....clean & compact & very convenient to taiwan mrt. Room we stayed on 2 occassions were not noisy. Right in ximengding & getting food is not a problem. Very popular with tourist & rooms get taken up very fast.

Hotel address not easy to find.....from ximengding mrt exit, need to look up & follow the signboard to get to the elevator. Hotel is on 8th floor.

I stayed here for a short trip, and it was perfect for my needs. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by very nice food options. My corner room was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist with luggage and transportation. The air conditioning was a blessing, keeping the room nice and cool.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location to mrt, shopping n eating. Although external bldg look very old but interior were newly renovated, total makeover. V clean n compact n quiet too. Would come back again n also recommend to friends n families.

Not easy to locate hotel entrance fm mrt. Quite hidden n also taxi driver not familiar with just hotel address. Must indicate ximeng mrt station n nxt to popular mee sua shop.

clean and good location

i asked for King size bed but was given two single size bed, very disappointed.

The rooms are newly furnished and clean, equipped with a fridge and hairdryer.

e location is very very good, just at the heart of ximending n its easily accessible by mrt n everything.. highly recommended!!! e staffs are very helpful in recommending places of interest too... good service.

I paied for my location at hotel twise. Uncompetent staff!!! Now I have problem with back money.
